The project will deliver 182 Seniors Living Units over two stages, plus an additional 160 RACF beds. The series of low-scale buildings to aligns with the character of the existing neighbourhood and extensive landscaping softens the facade and offers privacy for the residents and neighbours.

The village precinct includes several community facilities which encourage family and friends to visit residents.
The Uniting Care Bateau Bay project, known as Nareen Gardens, is the redevelopment of an existing single-level, seniors living facility which was constructed in the mid 1970’s.
The existing accommodation is due for a major upgrade to bring the level of amenity in-line with Uniting’s current Aged Care models, meet current standards and respond to market expectations.
Uniting’s vision is to create a facility which is accessible to local residents, promoting their philosophy of integration with the community. The village precinct includes swimming pools, children’s playgrounds, a cinema, a chapel and hospitality venues which will encourage family and friends to visit residents.
