Beerfarm

Beerfarm brings another tourist destination to the Central Coast’s Hinterland, while also bolstering the brand on the East Coast of Australia.

The interior has soaring ceilings, exposed steelwork, and a mixture of glazing and siding panels to allow patrons to take advantage of the view and local breeze without a dependency on air conditioning, a tenant of the brewery’s philosophy.

The design of the buildings are a to the agrarian history of the site.

Beerfarm, a brewery established in the Western Australian agricultural region of Margaret River, engaged CKDS to establish a new production facility and venue on the NSW Central Coast. The Calga site is located on a working farm, which falls into the brewery’s mantra of using locally sourced spring water for production, using spent grains from the brewing process to feed cattle, and using wastewater from the process to irrigate the local pastures.
The venue building has a deep verandah on two sides, while the production building is primarily an agricultural shed, both hinting to the agrarian history of the site
The new venue will offer space for patrons to taste the range of Beerfarm beers, a dining area for patrons and sales of merchandise.
